Fort Worth

We are back to Fort Worth. Our trip is almost over. Now we just have to take a plain to CT, then go to Boston and by plain go to Germany. From Germany to Poland and our trip will be over.
That was nice summer. We will miss all the people we met here in the US. But everything nice ends very fast.

Roswell

We are in Roswell now. Cute slow place. Mostly Mexican citizens. Nothing really special to do here. We are heading now to eat something and then straight to Fort Worth.

Before Roswell we went to White Sands Desert. Huge playground with sand for kids. Worth to see it. To see everything there you have to reserve whole day.

New Mexico Police

We have been stopped by the police. The most stupid thing is that not for speeding but for driving too slow. The police officer told us that 10 mph on main street is too slow and he thought that we are drunk. We talked with him for a while and he left.

Arizona - Air museum

Driving on I-10 east Mr. B noticed hundreds of plains. We decided to go there. After a while we stopped by gate. A military guard told us that this is training base. But he also told us that a few miles after Tucson there is a museum. We went there, it is a huge museums with plains and after an hour we took a tour to plains junk yard. Worth to see it.

Almost Mexico

During a night we have been driving I-8 east and we have been stopped by border guards. Mr. B asked if we are in Mexico. Then a guard asked us in Polish where are we from. We were shoked. He just checked our Passports and told us that we are still in United States.

San Diego

Huge and unique. We rent a room in a motel in El Cajon. It wasn't the most friendly area but we had a cute friend there. In the morning (11:59 am) next day, we went to SAN DIEGO ZOOOOOOO. It wasn't hot, perfect day for zoo. They have realy lazy animals there. They are not moving, just eating and sleeping, only monkeys were jumping and running. But, it was nice, we spend over 6h there.

Los Angeles

Huge dirty city. Nothing special, but we think it depends people like different places and things. We took some pictures of LA. We visited Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Hollywood. We didn't see any famous people. Good for them.

Arizona

We are sitting in a car in arizona. Checking emails and updating the blog a little. Nothing much to do we are heading back to Texas.

San Diego

San Francisco

We entered to the city by Golden Gate Bridge. Then we stopped by a marina to take some pictures. We drove for a while on San Francisco up and down streets and stopped in China Town to eat breackfast. Quick city quick tour. We are not museums fans so we are going to Los Angeles. Of course we didn't miss Mountain View to see Google's headquarter. We are almost in Santa Clarita and we are passing by forest fire which is in southern california for over a week.

Road to San Francisco

It took us a while to go to San Francisco. We took US-95 North in Nevada. Towns by this road are like old wild wild west ghosts towns. We stopped by one mechanic store because there was a lot of weird cars. The owner of those cars has also off road racing cars. He build them. For $20 he gave us a ride with one of the racing cars. They are hight octaine fuel cars. That was crazy. Dust and fumes. Next attraction of the Road to San Francisco were DIPS. Oh my. That was better than roller coaster. 90mph up and down, up and down. After that during the night we had to go through Yosemite National Park. That was crazy. I think we were lucky that it was night and we had seen nothing else but road. 55 mph on mountain road with speed limit 40 sometimes 30. Don't do this at home.

LAS VEGAS

On a way to the fake city, we stopped by Hoover Dam. Big construction. To enter the dam area you have to be checked by police. If you are suspicius they take you to a nearest tent. We have no idea what they do there.
8:00 pm we are almost in Las Vegas. Lights, huge advertisements, and cheap junk. Nothing really special. Everything could be ok but Mr. B came out with idea to stay at Mirage hotel.Nice place 17th floor. Shower and nice 10h dream. In the morning (11 am) we went back to the car and started driving north.In couple of minutes we stopped and ate in a buffet. The buffet was in a casino so we used our luck and won $1. So at the end of Las Vegas visit. We spend night in a hotel, ate buffet and won$1. So you can win in a casino but not a lot.

Grand Canyon

When we left Texas, we went to Santa Fe, then to Los Alamos during night and Cuba was the next civilized place. We took 6h nap in the car somewhere near Colorado border. In the morning we went to Colorado then four corners monument, but they have $3 per person fee and we had only $3 left and they didn't accept plastic so we left.
After a few hours we finally entered to Grand Canyon National Park for only $25. It was cold and sunny. Few pictures and we were on a road to see more.

Planes for future

Of course next day we were late 6h with our schedule. But we made some decisions. We give back the car in Texas and then take plain to Hardford, CT. We will be in Hartford at 4 pm. So after that we have 23h to get to Boston internationa airport.

Mr. B's uncle

In Fort Worth, TX we stopped for a couple of days in a beautiful place. It was Mr. B uncle's house. We had a really good time. We had some fun jumping to a swimmingpool. But the most important part was that we met really cool people and we slept in real beds.
September 20th we went out for a dinner. After that we went to Irish Pub.

Texas

We stopped in Fort Worth. Nice place, warm cute, huge and friendly. We just got here so we don't have any experience about this place. More info soon. Now it is time to rest and meet new cool people. We stay at their place.

Florida - bigger longer and uncut.

It is 12:20 am Monday 18 of September. Florida drives us crazy. It is too hot here. Humid is too high. We wanted to go to Dinsey World but it was closed already. Besides Disney World is so big or complicated, we don't know yet, that we couldn't find anything there. We think this is a fake. Peple go there and drive circles with their cars and saw only few hotels and they go back home happy that they went to Disney World. We even went to McDonalds there, all junk food there were $2 more expensive. Now we are trying get our of Florida. this is not that easy. This state is huge and not nice.
Just for you safety. If you get a chance do not go to Florida.

Key West

Really nice area. It took us too long to get there and too long to get out of there. Our goal was to see sun rise at Key West and we did it. Then we took a quick tour around Key West. Then we stopped for a while to take a shower on a beach. We wanted to sweem in the Atlantic Ocean. The water was warm but green dirty and smelly. The place was nice but smelly. After shower and quick sunbathing we left Key West.

Miami

Yes we finaly visited Miami. It was nice but hooooooooooooooooooooot. This place is too hot. Why people want to live there? This place is not even cute. We have some pictures of Miami. We didn't have time to stop so we opened our roof and took some pictures.

Rent a car.

To rent a car wasn't that easy. There were thusands rules and regulations, procedures and milion other things which we had to deal with. Some companies didn't accept debit card because we are under 25. But some didn't have any problems with this. So after a while it was just a matter of price. So we have found the best deal in Dolar rental. Good customer service, fast and easy. We just added insurence we don't have to be worried about the car that much and we were ready to go. So the car price is just a couple of hundred dollars, then you have to add tax, insurence, driver under 25, different drop point.
At the end of everything with renting a car and travel. When you are under 25 you are too young to travel so it will cost you a lot of money. After 25 you are too old to travel so you don't need to rent a car and deal with all the procedures.

Tell me the story.

So lets start from the begining. What exactly hapend. So we left Virginia Beach where we have found the cheapest gas, so far. $2.07 per galon. We think this is a good price. So we got full tank and we started to go to Miami. Just before Florida, exactly 40 miles our cute car broke. We were lucky that we stopped by visitors center and rest area. We took a nap in a car. A night outside of the car in Gorgia was horrible. We got a lot of mosquitos bites. In the morning two old guys gave us a ride almost to Jacksonville airport. Almost because we had to walk 2 miles to the airport. And there we rented our car.

We are back on road. We are 24h late and we have to give back our new car 28th of September in NYC. Now we are going to Key West. And no matter what we will take pictures of this place.
Ah about our new red car. Don't even ask how much it costs. Just for the beggining it is $180 a week so it is not that bed, addidtional charges are not included, so we paid for this and we will have a really good pictures out of the car so we don't have to stop.
That was Mr. B idea. My mom will never every let me to go with him again. Shit happens time to go. Next update soon...

Florida

It is not sunny outside. Now we are going to sunny Florida. We hope to get there soon. We don't have much time and Mr. B wants to see Key West. I don't think this will happen but we will see. If we won't see Miami that means that thhurricane a huricane or we areto o tired to drive there. Oh and WE ARE NOT SHOPPING ANY MORE !!!

Virginia Beach part II

We stopped in Virginia Beach for night. We stopped in the same hotel I (Mr. M) worked in the hotel last summer. Ocean Beach Club. This is really nice place to stay. I have seen my manager Rebecca.

Now I am posting everything what we collected. I am sitting in a chiPembroket in downtowne Mall, Downtawn Virginia Beach, VA.
Mr. B went shopping and I am typing this bullshit. Don't read it go to work.

I think we need to have some sleep. I am not tired now but I think later I will be dead. Mr B was driving whole night. Our car seems to use gas and oil but we are not sure yet. More thrilling stores coming soon...

We left Norwich late and then had to go back because we forgot one box. We first stopped at park and ride in NJ. And then we went straight to Atlantic City. Not an impressive place during night. All casinos charges $5 for parking and most of places are closed, so we left. We were heading to Virginia but there was a small operator error. I was sure that there was a bridge but we took a ferry. We slept a little, bush teeth at a shore in local Restroom on a beach and now we are heding south straight to Virginia Beach.

Everything seems to be fine. Our car is running fine. We have a small delay but we are doing ok. We have some food from our friends this is helping us a lot because everything seems to be closed at 4 am. I think we sleep, sometimes on red lights, besides that, we are driving. Florida we are coming !!!.

Another happy Monday

We got new tires for the car, of course the didn't fit. This is not good. Good thing that we didn't have water in the trunk so that means that I did a good job fixing trunk and back window.

We are still fixing our trip car. We have few more things to do but the car is running. We hope to have it ready by Wednesday. If not shit happens, so we have to get something different and spend more money. Pictures are coming so I will publish some, no worries. We are still in Connecticut so there is no reason to panic, stay calm as long as you can.

Who, where, when, what?

Of course Mr. B and Mr. M. - two cute men who wants to do something little crazy. We hope to travel over 8000 miles in 2 weeks around USA and spend some time sightseeing.
Our goal to go from CT to FL then to TX and CA and on a way back to CT go to MI.
We are hoping to start traveling 13th of September 2006.
We will be traveling by car. What is it?? Pictures coming soon.
